Stuffed if I know where I'm gonna put it when it's finished!

Worked on fixing a few spots that showed up with the first spray of RLM 65 on the one wing....then applied a further coat over all joins and the lower surfaces...and found more small spots that need a bit more attention...

Clearly not gonna be finished until the end of the month, sorry Guys....

Did you remember to glue in that pill container filled with lighter fluid? You know. Like when we were kids. Once the model is finished, drill a hole in one of the wing tips, loop a string through it, light the nose on fire and twirl it around your head til the fire slowly engulfs the plane, hitting the lighter fluid and blowing up.

No storage problem.

Shame about the timing Wayne. It's looking truly nice but no sense rushing it. Looking forward to more.
 

Firecrackers work well too!

That would be a crime to destroy something THAT nice though. I'm sure I could find space for it if you REALLY wanted to get rid of it.

Looking simply awesome Wayne. Pity that it won't be done by the end of the build.
 
Looking sweet Wayne. You could always donate it to a museum! BTW, I found the in- flight pic I thought was 'your' bird, and it wasn't! Same place though, I think.

put some more RLM 65 over the fixed up parts....only the wing light to fix now...glass is not quite right...

Also painted the faces of the engines...and decided to put some colour on the starboard wing, RLM 71 looked ok until I applied some RLM 70 Black Green to test the waters....

Not completely happy with the RLM 71 doesn't look right to me.....needs to be darker.
