While I was waiting for the gloss coat to set up on the Caproni, I managed to get the last little bits done on this one. (The Hs 123 has all the decals on as well and is just waiting for the final matt coat and one or two little bits to be added.) Missed the deadline by a mile, but better late than never. The matt coat on this came out exactly the way I wanted it to. It's has almost NO sheen - dead flat.
Note: I didn't spend a lot of time trying to frame each shot exactly since it's way past the deadline but I did do the walkaround shots plus one extra. (The last shot is my favorite) So without further ado, here she is. Hope you like it.
Nope, no weathering. She's finished as she is. I like the way she turned out and after all the BS I had to sort thru with those frackin' decals and the setting solutions I am going to call it FINIS (except for adding the antenna wire at a later date)! There's ONE small thing I might fix up when the mood strikes me.
Thanks Vic. Actually I did think about weathering it a bit - unfortunately I already had the first couple of matt coats on it already when I thought about it.
