I have started what will be a very long build for me as planes go.The HK B25J is an impressive kit coming out of the box but I have gone as far to get three of the PE kits available from Eduard those being nose/bombardier,Copit and the fuselage.I have one new book thus far with another expected in days for interior pics. The exterior will be the OD upper surfaces with what appears to be NM lower surface.I am thinking of getting the the gun barrels from here as a kit from 32080 B-25 gun barrels set modification A - profimodeller.com but if Wojtek can help me on the price :dontknow: I also am now getting use to working my new PE bending tool some it helps for those longer straight bends but some flat unserrated pliers still help.

Great project Kevin. Will watch with interest. I like the black basing technique and will need to give that a try.

I am using a black primer offered by Alcad.I sprayed inside the panels first and dusted it in 2-3 passes did the same on the boxes.I am still going to hit with a wash but do not think as much will be needed for effect.

Thanks Gerry not much of late :( But I been doing a lot of wood work.I am building a 72" X 40" computer station ATTM,a small table next 42" X 36" (soft maple) and then two end tables (aromatic cedar) sisters one taller for a vase to be finished and delivered by late March early April...I think it's needless to say progress is going to be slow.I am plum tired after 10-11 hours at the regular job and then another 2-4 in the shop a few nights a week with the office unoccupied (model room).I use to hate sanding by hand but now I find it very relaxing :dontknow:

Well I have not been around much fella's been quite busy with alot of other projects but seeing I am on leave with pay till a doctor(s) give me the go ahead to go back to work thought I do something for me.This what you see is about 15hrs over the last few days I still have to do the bomb sight along with the MG holder for the center of the nose. The decals on the ammo cans come off some stock from AirScale something kinda close.
