Not a huge amount to report. Removed the MkV selector from the Mk46. Completed the Fuel selector for the Mk46 and fitted it. Removed the MkI fuel selector (for the new spitty) and replaced it with the MkV selector. Made a few instrument parts and photographed some of the 'new' bits. Hope its not too boring!!!

Oh yes, took the Mk1 engine limitations plate (Merlin III) out of the MkV and put the 'new' Merlin LV in its place.

Cheers chaps! My frame 8 is so slow but is labour intensive!! I have set a target to get Frame 8 finished before Chrismas.

I have designed a trolley for the P51's Merly.....which is being made!!

My goodness, frame 8 has so much work required in it!!! Hope to post some update shots this week....it is amazing how little progress has happened in two whole days!! Most progress has been made on the Mustang and acquiring instrumentation for the Spit1

A few pictures of todays work....the pile of yellow (zinc chromate primer) stuff is the internal braces for the Frame 8.

Well, put in several days on the frame 8....put in about 100 rivets today. The work on this one frame is ridiculous!! Cannot wait to get working on the P51 as it will be a breeze after a Spitfire!!!
I hope to finish the frame on Monday....then will post pix. Happy New year all and may all your models (both big and small!) end up how you want them to!!
