Had a good day today.....took some time off this afternoon to spray frame 8 and other parts in cockpit green - also dismantled the base of my control column to fit in the box. The photos show the results. There is a practice fit of frame 8 and the box. The original control column feet were stripped down to remove the remains of the old control box.
Thanx Chaps....it is nice to share the project with you fine chaps! Hoping to get the stuff being rivetted together in the next 2-3 weeks. It is abut 3 months late.....
Created mould for the chassis warning horn switch for my Spit 1 throttle (made a mould to allow bezels for a Tornado F2 gauge, fuel selector switch for a P51, oil pressure gauge! and Me109 grip switches)
Many thanx Chaps....the moulding material I use will even pick up moist finger prints! I am not very good at painting really Daryl it is ok for my project, I am sure the modellers can do a whole lot better! We are now within 10 weeks of the show and there is so much to do....all the frame work is in and ready for assembly .....just need time!!!
