The work looks mighty nice on what you got going.
 
Worked a bit yesterday afternoon. Got the rubber motor installed and did a dry fit of the wing to the fuselage. After a bit of sanding, the fit is good.

Still have some light sanding to do on the wing, then five coats of clear dope. I owe the fuselage three more coats, too. Maybe this week-end.

That is probably why I had problems with the finish of mine. 5 coats of dope. I'm sure I lost track of the coats.
It is looking wonderful, Charles.
 
Gave the fuselage of the P-40 the three coats of clear dope I owed it, and did a dry-fit of the cowl. Got both the rudder and stabilizer covered. The pic was taken before I spritzed them with water. They're hanging in the garage. Maybe tomorrow I can start covering the fuselage. It takes about twenty small pieces of tissue.
