Vic: I'm rushing this one 'cause I feel like it will be my last balsa build. I'm just getting tired, and it isn't enjoyable anymore.

That's sad to hear Charles but I can understand your need to keep going. Just don't push yourself and take that nap when you feel so inclined.

Hi Lads: Got the wings and tail feathers attached to the fuselage. Got lots of doping to do before I can toss some paint on it. Going to do the section under the wing, that completes the fuselage, next. Still don't like the rear canopy window !!!

Beauty Charles. For the rear window, what if you found some stiffer clear plastic and cut a shape to fit the opening? You can find the stuff everywhere in packaging.

Got it, Vic. No work on the P-40 Sunday or Monday. Just too busy. Tomorrow is an off day, hope to get the underside of the fuselage done.

Edit: Tuesday 1115R. Just finished getting the underside of the fuselage constructed. This gives a finishing touch to the underside of the wing, and makes it look like a mid-wing fighter.

Finished covering the undersides of the P-40. Now, lots of clear dope and sanding prior to painting. Still have to deal with the rear cockpit window.
