Seeing all of these collections reminds me of a brief story.

My son (5 at the time) walked into my friends collection room and saw all everything laid out on shelves, book cases, and desks. Promptly says, "Ohh.. Look at all the toys you've got! Can I play with them!"

My friend in absolute horror replied "Noooooo!".

My son was terribly confused and replied, "but why don't you play with them?" Poor kid, he couldn't get his mind wrapped around the idea that some toys are just for looking at.

My stash has expanded a bit since the last time I posted here (I'm buying more kits then I'm building). Here's the current state - all kits are in 1/72 except Academy MiG-21 which I got from Terry and which is in 1/48 scale...

I already posted a pic of my stash (Post #434 of this thread), but yesterday I did an inventory and it was scary:

Total Unbuilt Kits: 181

That means if I make 7 kits per year I'll have enough to make it to my mid 70s!
I guess this means I should stop buying them!!
