When you say at work, do you bring them to work and work on them?

Sure do...take 'em to work every day and do some work on them during my lunch break....

Ok, here is a chipping in progress shot.

bloody brilliant Wayne !

i see youve used a light grey for the undersides what paint did you use ?
the instructions for my tamiya Ki 84 say to use XF-14 which is sky blue but all the profiles etc i've seen show a colour closer to what you've used !
do you think that its an old kit with slightly out of date instuctions ?

Hi Karl, the lower colour is an Olive-Grey tamiya mix, (Used on Zeroes too!) for the basics XF-14 is ok, if you want to replicate my colour I can provide the Tamiya mix if you like!:D

Today I applied another coat of Matt Flat Coat with Khaki added to further dull down the paint and fade and blend the colouring a tad as well as the decals....very subtle effect but at this stage I don't want to f*ck it up! will also be adding a little bit of pastel work as well in the final stages....

Ok the first 2 pics shows the subtle addition of the matt with the added khaki....doesn't quite show the slightly faded effect on the Hinomaru markings....
