Don't know if this will be of any use Charles. I came across it whilst looking for something else, and sorry about the quality, but it was scanned from a very small half-tone. It's from the Heinz J. Nowarra Collection, BTW.

Thanks for the pic, Airframes. It's a good shot of the tail.

Last night I attached the wing and the elevator to the fuselage. I knew that today there would be a lot of work done
with the fuselage upside-down, so I held off on the rudder. Today I attached the main float and the wing floats. This
will dry overnight, and tomorrow I will do the main float rear braces, the rudder and the cowling. The area of the
fuselage, aft of the wing needs some attention. This was the area where I did not like the way the wing mated to
the fuselage.

Lovely work Charles.. you know what. I was in the LHS a few days ago and saw some balsa kits of spits and such, then I saw a B-25 mitchell and thought about your build here. I really want to buy it and try it, is it as hard as it looks?

Keep going regardless!

If you want to get into the balsa/tissue modeling, I would not recommend a B-25 to start off with. That
would be very complicated. I would try to find a small military trainer or a small civilian aircraft. A Piper
Cub is a good start. My first build was the "Art Chester Racer", a real simple build. Usually the directions
are easy to read, and simple to follow. It just takes time and patience. Good luck !

Minor set-back today, guys. For some reason the Rufe became airborne, and crashed into the floor of the garage.
I was not in the garage when it happened, so I can only guess a puff of wind blew it off the table. Smashed both
ends of the main float support. If you recall, I said I was not happy with the main float support, as laid down by
the designer, so I scratch-built a support out of 3/8" balsa. It appears that is not strong enough, either, so we
are going with the original support as in the plans. Pic's attached, you can see the damage. It's repairable, of
course, just a minor set-back.

The cowling and the rudder have been attached.
